The Ann Arbor T-shirt Company is composed of dozens of artists, screen printers, art techs, logistics professionals, embroiderers, and support staff, all operating out of Ann Arbor, Michigan (about 40 miles west of Detroit). We proudly design, print, and embroider the majority of our products completely in our Ann Arbor, MI factory.

The company grew from a dorm room project between two friends at the University of Michigan. What makes our products unique is that our workers receive fair wages, healthcare, 401k matches, and meals. Machines, inks, and most inputs are U.S. sourced, and shirts are mostly made of U.S. cotton. Producing in-house keeps quality up and prices low. We love giving people fun ways to express themselves and strike up conversations with their neighbors.

The product features a classic, unstructured, low-profile, six-panel "dad" style ballcap with directly stitched embroidery across the front. It has a metal slide-buckle closure on the back, which is adjustable, subtle, and classy. The bio-wash finish on the cotton twill gives it a soft, slightly lived-in treatment. The durable, vibrant threads applied by expert embroiderers using industry-leading Tajiuma equipment ensure the stitching will last as long as the hat.
